Youth Impact Strategies is led by a team of young professionals with demonstrated knowledge and experience in social entrepreneurship, political campaigns and activism, nonprofit management, and communications. Our leaders bring a vast range of experiences and relationships with businesses, organizations, campaigns, and government agencies, including national brands and organizations like New Leaders Council, Facebook, Nickelodeon, Michelle Obama’s Better Make Room Campaign, Generation Progress, and the Democratic National Committee. Chris J. Suggs, Chief Executive Officer

At 18-years-old, Chris is a nonprofit CEO, award-winning speaker, community leader, and neighborhood hope dealer. Since 2014, Chris has served as the Founder & CEO of Kinston Teens, a nonprofit organization focused on youth empowerment and community development. Chris is the Chairman of Black Youth Network, Inc., a national nonprofit with a mission of connecting and empowering young African-American leaders. Chris has worked with and been featured by major platforms including Nickelodeon, The Huffington Post, Teen Vogue Magazine, Facebook and First Lady Michelle Obama. Chris specializes in public speaking, media and communications, nonprofit management, community organizing, and youth engagement.

Jaylan A. Scott, Chief Operations Officer

Jaylan a passionate and savvy social media and political strategist with experience working on local, state and national progressive campaigns. Either as a volunteer, staff member, or consultant, Jaylan has worked on major campaigns including Michael Blake's recent campaign to Democratic National Committee Vice-Chairman, and Stacey Abram's current historic run for Governor of Georgia. At 18-years-old, Jaylan serves as Executive Director of Black Youth Network, is a former member of the Macon-Bibb County Youth Commission, serves as a member of the executive committee for the Macon-Bibb Democratic Party, as the Middle Georgia Regional Director for the Young Democrats of Georgia, and as Deputy Finance Director for the Young Democrats of America.

Craig Terrell Robey, Chief Strategy Officer

A native of Valdosta, Georgia and current resident of Tallahassee, Florida, politics, social issues, and art have excited Craig Terrell Robey for as long as he can remember. Through his service and entrepreneurship efforts, 19-year-old Craig works to combine these passions to make a positive impact on the world. Craig serves as Co-Founder & Vice Chairman of Black Youth Network, is the creator and operator of an online apparel business, and is the owner and operator of Robey's Photography—a Tallahassee-based portrait and event photography company. Craig specializes in business creation, graphic design, leadership development, and marketing.
